The Maple Road Dental Practice was founded in 1954 by Mr Geoff Harper and is a dental practice with strong roots in the local community. Mr Pip Thomas bought the practice in 1981 and followed on from Mr Harper building the practice to its current size incorporating disabled access.
Mr Ian Hunt bought the practice in 1999. Since then it has undergone thorough modernisation and extension with the reception area and upper floor being upgraded for better comfort and access. The practice has qualified for many accreditations including Investors In People, BDA Good Practice Award and Denplan Excel Accreditation.
The practice offers dentistry on a private basis and patients can also register as a Denplan patient once they are dentally fit. In September 2005 we attained Denplan Excel Accreditation.
Ian Hunt, Pip Thomas, Jill Jagger, Stephen Roberts and Craig Jack are currently able to accept new patients on a private basis being able to offer the best available treatments, highest quality materials and convenient appointment times. (Saturday mornings and evenings)

Mark Edmondson is able to offer surgical dentistry and implantology at affordable prices to our patients and outside referrals.
